Hyderabad: At Shamshabad RGI Airport, customs officials arrested a passenger coming from Cochin on Wednesday and traced the case of gold smuggling.
According to customs officials, they have detained a passenger traveling from Cochin with smuggled foreign marked gold from Dubai and hiding in the aircraft’s washroom.
On receiving reliable information, 1.2 kg of hidden gold was retrieved. The value of gold is Rs. 60 lakh was seized. Further investigation in progress
