Telangana intermediate exam is likely to be conducted as per schedule

Hyderabad: Telangana State Board of Intermediate (TS BIE) Secretary Syed Omar Jaleel said that intermediate examinations would be conducted as per schedule.

He also said that preparations for conducting the examination are going on and hall tickets have been issued. The first year exams will start from May 1 while the second year exams will start from the next day.
However, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the board faced some difficulties, it managed to complete all the preparations for the examinations.

When asked about the possibility of promoting students without conducting the exam, he said that the government can only decide about it. However, the board is ready to conduct the examination, he said.
Giving more information, he said that 400 examination centers have been added to the existing 1771 centers in the states to conduct examinations for 8.5 lakh students in the first and second year.

The Secretary said that due to the steady increase in Covid-19 cases in the state, TSBIE has postponed the intermediate practical exams and they will be conducted after the theory exams.

The board also pointed out that for the first year, examinations for the two subjects, Ethics and Human Values ​​and Environmental Education, will be conducted from home format to assignment work.
