A resident of secundrabad was duped of Rs.5 Lakhs by a swindler by convincing her that she won a lottery
The victim got a phone call from a person claiming to be a representative of a company and informed her that she won a car worth 30 lakh in a lottery
He asked the victim whether she wanted the car or money. When she opted for cash he tricked her saying that first she need to transfer 5 lakh on the pretext of various taxes and fees said KVM prasad ACP cyber crime
On the complaint the police registered the case and took up the investigation
