Hyderabad: A man, who ignored the ban on two-wheelers on the PVNR Expressway as well as traveling on the wrong route, was injured in an accident on the expressway at Rajendranagar on Monday morning.
Rajendranagar police said that Shaik Javeed, a resident of Chintalmet, was allegedly going in the wrong direction on the expressway on his motorcycle and hit a taxi going from Mehandipatnam towards Shamshabad.
Police shifted the man to Osmania General Hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical.
The case has been registered and investigation is on. There is a ban on the entry of motorcycles on the PVNR Expressway.
