Two Arrested For Spreading Fake News About CM K Chandrasekhar Rao

Two persons including a young boy who is in conflict with law were nabbed by task force sleuths of Hyderabad police on Saturday after he allegedly spread fake news about the health of honourable chief minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao, who tested Covid-19 positive a few days agoago with only mild symptoms.


Task Force police said that B Shekar of Munugodu of Nalgonda district and a juvenile allegedly spread news in WhatsApp groups about the health of KCR, after he was declared suffering with Covid-19. This fake News went viral. The juvenile is a 16-year-old who is studying intermediate by staying at BC Welfare hostel.


Hyderabad Cyber crime police registered a case and the Task Force sleuths nabbed the accused. From them police seized gadgets which were handed over to CCS officials.
