Kcr orders appointment of 144 doctors,medical staff

Hyderabad: Due to the unprecedented surge in the COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken an important decision on a war footing to appoint adequate staff in 114 hospitals on Sunday to provide proper and quality medical care to the people.

The CM has immediately issued orders in this regard.

As per the orders, 144 doctors, 527 nurses, 84 lab technicians and all 755 posts were approved by the CM.

This will put a financial burden of Rs 9.02 crore on the state exchequer. The CM has directed the district collectors to conduct a special recruitment drive, conduct interviews and conclude the appointment process in five days due to the emergency.
