Hyderabad: Finally, oxygen tankers have come from the neighboring state of Odisha.
The empty Oxygen tankers were earlier transported in the IAF warplanes.
Telangana received 150 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen in 9 tankers on Monday. Each tanker holds 16 metric tons of liquid oxygen. Oxygen tankers are coming from Angul and Rourkela of Odisha.
With the arrival of the tankers in Hyderabad, they were immediately taken to TIMS Hospital in Gachibowli and other hospitals in Karimnagar, Cherlapally, King Kothi, Chest Hospital and District Hospitals in Khammam.
After the arrival of these tankers in the state, the government has breathed a sigh of relief and the shortage can be reduced.
