Hyderabad : 2010 batch #Telangana cadre IAS officer Amrapali Kata moved to PMO. She was deputy secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat. For a brief period, she also worked with MoS Home Kishan Reddy. She is married to Delhi Police IPS Sameer Sharma who also served as SP Diu in past Bureaucracy. Three IAS officers appointed in the PMO: Raghuraj Rajendran as Director, Amrapali Kata as Deputy Secretary and Mangesh Ghildiyal as Under Secretary
Months before this posting, the IAS officer was appointed as ‘deputy secretary’ in the Union cabinet secretariat. Earlier as the private secretary to the Union Minister for Home G. Kishen Reddy.
Ms Kata has served in various capacities in the state of Telangana. A native of Vishakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, the IAS officer Amrapali Kata, has served as a collector of Warangal Urban district, besides working with the GHMC and TS election Commission. The 2010 batch officer is married to IPS officer Sameer Sharma, of 2011 batch.
