Hyderabad: In Falaknuma, allegedly depressed woman committed suicide and died on Tuesday.
Police said the woman Afreen Begum aged 32 had a quarrel with her husband Abid’s first wife Jahanum Begum. Recently, Jahanum came to Afreen house and raised an argument.
During this, she beated Afreen in public view.
Frustrated about this, Afreen allegedly died in her bedroom by hanging herself from the ceiling fan.
Her husband, who had gone out, found her dead when he returned and informed the police.
Falaknuma police have registered a case and are investigating.
