Hussanialam police arrested a person for claiming to be a prophet and hurting the sentiments of people.Mohammed Ilyas a resident of Qazipura in Old City was taken into custody after a group of locals approached the Hussainialam police station. Complainant Syed Adam resident of Fateh Darwaza wrote in his complaint to the police that two persons identified as Mohammed Ilyas and Mohammed Habeeb along with their associates were misguiding people claiming that Ilyas is a prophet.The accused allegedly forced innocent peoples to join the organisation of one Fayyaz. The complainant alleged that the group was forcing people to follow their cult.On receiving the complaint, the police have registered a case under ipc sections 153(A) Promoting enmity between two groups on the basis of religion) 295 (A) (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings).The accused has been produced before the magistrate.-article writerSyeda Mehrukh Naaz
