The highest rainfall till 4 pm in GHMC area was 34.8 mm in Chandannagar, 18.8 mm in Madhapur and 17.3 mm in Gachibowli.

According to IMD officials, the city may receive rain till May 7, with rain or thundershowers in the evening or night with maximum temperatures ranging between 36-38 degrees Celsius.
