Hyderabad: Telangana State Public Health Director Dr.G.Srinivas Rao said that only people above 45 years of age are being vaccinated in the state.
However, the vaccine is only offered to those registered in the COWIN app.
The vaccination campaign is going on in all government centers under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
He also said that under GHMC, about 200 people are being given vaccines daily in each center and 100 people are being appointed in centers of other areas.
On the other hand, the vaccination process has not yet started for people above 18 years of age in the state due to shortage of vaccine.
