Hyderabad: Telangana reported 6,876 fresh coronavirus cases, over 4.63 lakh, while the toll stood at 2476 with over 59 casualties.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most cases with 1029, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri 502 and Rangareddy 387,on tuesday, a government bulletin providing details as of 8 pm on 3 May.
The total cumulative cases in the state were 4,63,361, while 7,432 patients were cured, with a total recovery of 3,81,365.There are 79,520 active cases in the state and around 71,000 samples were tested on Monday.
Cumulatively, more than 1.31 crore samples have been tested. The Bulletin stated that the samples tested per million population were more than 3.54 lakh.
The case fatality rate in the state was 0.53 percent, while at the national level it was 1.1 percent. The recovery rate in Telangana was 82.30 percent, while it was 81.8 percent in the country.
