SSC grade declared in two weeks

Hyderabad: The Directorate of Government Examinations will provide grades to the students of class 10 in two weeks.

In the wake of the Covid-19 epidemic, the state government cancelled the SSC public examinations to be held on 17 May.

The Directorate of government examination DGE, will provide the SSC Grade Point Average (GPA), which considers the marks obtained by students in the formative Assessment Test conducted by schools.

According to DGE sources, the Formative Assessment Marks 20 % will be scaled up to 100 percent and a grade point will be awarded based on the final score.

They said that the students who failed or were absent in the assessment test will be given minimum passing marks.
This year, 5,21,393 students have registered for SSC Public Examination.

Schools could conduct only one assessment test. Now, based on that, grades will be given in two weeks and school management across the state had already sent the marks and other details of all the students to the DGE.

“We are verifying all the details, especially the name, father’s name, date of birth of the students and their marks.

After sorting that, we will issue hall tickets for the students who want to register for Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2021, ”sources said

Last year, three papers of SSC public examinations were conducted, and the rest was cancelled by the government due to the epidemic.

All 5.34 lakh students were promoted, and they were allotted grades considering their internal marks.

A total of 1,41,382 students, including 83,799 girls and 57,583 boys, achieved a 10/10 GPA last year.
