Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Tuesday implemented a total lockdown in the state for a period of ten days from Wednesday.
The lockout will take place from May 12 to May 22.
The announcement was made after a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
“The cabinet has decided that all activities will be allowed from 6 am to 10 am every day,”statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office.
The cabinet also decided to call global tenders for the purchase of the COVID-19 vaccine.
