16,000 lockdown violators booked

Hyderabad: Taking strong action against those who violated the lockdown, the Cyberabad police has registered 16,000 cases since lockdown imposed.

According to Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, 5,000 police personnel including traffic police officers are deployed at various check posts to ensure adherence to lockdown restrictions.

Sajjanar, while inspecting the check post and talking to the media, said,” people should ensure that they do not venture unnecessarily.It is better for their safety”.

The commissioner further advised people not to be careless during this second wave of epidemic.

He said, “Many of those who are suffering from mild symptoms of Covid-19 are taking it easy thinking that it could be a viral infection.

I request all of you to not to take any symptoms easy. Do not close your eyes and get yourself examined”.

To ensure full compliance of the lockdown orders, the commissioner along with senior police officers reviewed the implementation of the lockdown.
