Telangana May Extend Lockdown till 7th June.

Hyderabad : The state government may extend the lockdown period till June 7 if there was no considerable dip in the Covid-19 cases. Though the government would like to start easing the restrictions, it may have no option but to extend the lockdown if the people fail to follow the curbs imposed during the lockdown to stop the surge in cases.

Telangana CM KCR says lockodown will be implemented strictly. The number of Rapid Antigen Test kits will be increased to 50 lakh.Telangana CM KCR suggested the officials, if necessary, to go to Delhi to study how it contained the COVID19 effectively with lockdown.

As many as 150 beds at Gandhi hospital & 250 beds at ENT hosptial, total 400 beds allocated for treating Black Fungus cases. At a review today, Telangana CM KCR directed the officials to conduct COVID19 tests for all, whoever wanted to undergo a test.The no of beds for black fungus will be increased to 1,500. For Hyderabad 1,100 beds and for districts 400 beds.
