Metro rails to start services from 6 am to 10:15 pm;Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Acknowledging to directions from Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao, the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited declared on Tuesday that its trains would run from 6 am onwards, starting Wednesday.
According to Metro Rail officials, the timings of the trains had been revised and the first set of trains would leave at 6 am from their respective orientating stations. There would be change in the rest of the timings.

The last Metro trains would leave at 10.15 pm every day, and reach their destinations at around 11.15 pm, officials said.
The Minister had on Monday asked HMRL managing director NVS Reddy and L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail to consider a request that came from a Metro user, Abhinav Sudarsi, who tweeted a series of photographs and videos to the Minister, pointing out that people reached the Metro stations by 6 am and since Metro trains begin services at 7 am, have to wait for one hour. Trying to reach office any sooner by taking cabs was a costly option since cabs charged more in the early hours, he pointed out, adding that senior citizens too were facing difficulties in the morning crowd.
Answering to his request, the Minister said he agreed with the suggestion and asked the HMRL MD and L&T to coordinate and make sure the same.
