Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 173 new Covid infections and one fatality on Tuesday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,968 and the total number of positive cases to 6,72,823. The number of fresh cases in Telangana, as on Tuesday, was 3,754.The authorities today conducted 40,797 Covid tests of which results of 1,661 samples were awaited. A total of 168 individuals recovered with a recovery rate of 98. 85 per cent. So far, a total of 2,78,75,955 Coronavirus tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,72,823 tested positive and 6,65,101 recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included one from Adilabad, three from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 61 from areas under GHMC, two from Jagtial, three from Jangaon, one from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 12 from Karimnagar, six from Khammam, four from Kumrambheem Asifabad, two each from Mahabubnagar and Mahabubabad, four from Mancherial, three from Medak, 13 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, eight from Nalgonda, one from Nirmal, three from Nizamabad, six from Peddapalli, 12 from Ranga Reddy, nine from Sangareddy, one from Siddipet, two from Suryapet, one from Warangal Rural, nine from Warangal Urban and four from Warangal Urban.
