Hyderabad: A woman, who caught her husband red-handed with a woman with whom he was allegedly having an extramarital affair, thrashed him and handed him over to the police at Jagadgirigutta on Saturday.
According to the Sources the man, Anil Kumar, a private employee, was married for seven years and the couple had a daughter. Anil allegedly started harassing his wife for additional dowry and was also pressurizing her to sell her ancestral plot and give him money. In between, he is said to have started an extramarital affair with another woman from the same neighbourhood and was secretly staying with her in a rented house at Bank Colony in Qutbullapur.
On Saturday, his wife grew suspicious about her husband’s movements, went to the house to check and found Anil with the woman. She thrashed him before handing him over to the police.
The Jagadgirigutta police said investigation is underway.
