Fake educational certificate racket busted in hyderabad,2 held.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (Central) on Saturday arresred two persons who were allegedly selling fake educational certificates to job aspirants. The team seized 220 certificates of various universities, six computers and other equipment from them.
Acting on alert, the team caught Syed Naveed alias Faisal (30) and Syed Owais Ali (22) both residents of Basheerbagh. Police said Syed Naveen was running an educational consultancy at Babu Khan Estate in Basheerbagh. “After collecting between Rs.50,000 and Rs.75,000 from job aspirants, Naveed was preparing certificates by editing the original certificates and supplying it to candidates,” Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said. Owais Ali was working as an agent for Naveed.

“Both of them were also sending students to various universities in the United Kingdom and received their commission from the universities,” he said.
