Congress has alleged collusion between Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana following the arrest of state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Congress MP Revanth Reddy profess that the arrests were part of a pact to show BJP as the primary opposition in the state.
State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar was arrested before the planned protest against the TRS government decision on transfer of government employees. BJP had planned a ‘jagarana’ at his office against an order introducing zonal system in allocation of jobs.
Responding to the arrest, Congress MP Revanth Reddy said all this is to show BJP as the primary opposition in Telangana.
On Tuesday, BJP National President JP Nadda participated in a silent protest and called the TRS government the most corrupt. Congress, meanwhile alleged ‘match fixing’ between both parties.
In reply to, BJP National General Secretary BL Santosh said, “When the fire reaches you, you will have only Hussain Sagar to soak yourself in. Good luck. Let’s meet in 2023.” Revanth Reddy further said Telangana understands the bonhomie between TRS and BJP.
