Hyderabad : Fraudsters who are issuing Fake Certificates now have a tough road ahead to issue fake certificates. A new online verification system is being put in place by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) to curb the menace of fake certificates in the State.
Just like the security features available in currency notes, certificates issued by the universities come with features like logo, watermark, a particular paper thickness and a unique code number. Despite these security features, Fraudsters are tampering with the certificates and making fake ones.
To tackle this Forged Certificates , the Council is putting in place a full-fledged online certificate verification system where all marks memos and other certificates issued by the universities in the State will be hosted on a server. Employers or companies can verify the genuineness of the certificates online using the hall ticket number of the candidate. This service will be available on user charges which will be shared between the TSCHE and the university concerned.
