Hyderabad : The IMD-Hyderabad has issued a five-day yellow warning for the city. Today, in the early hours, an average minimum temperature of 18.5 degree Celsius was recorded.
Due to strong cold winds from the central states of the country, several parts of Telangana, including Hyderabad, may face a cold-wave like situation for the next six days. The situation may peak between Wednesday and Saturday.
Meanwhile, the night temperature in the northern districts of Telangana has dipped below normal range. Vikarabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 12.4 degree Celsius, in the early hours of Sunday. As per the forecast by TSDPS, the minimum temperature in districts such as Nirmal, Kamareddy and Nizamabad, might dip as low as 10 degree Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.
