CM KCR announced that upper age limit for direct recruitment would be relaxed by 10 years. Accordingly, except police, the upper age limit for all other posts will be 44 years for OC, 49 years for SC, ST, BC, 54 years for Physically handicapped, and 47 years for ex-Servicemen.

Celebrations broke out in the Osmania University with Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao announcing a whopping 80,039 vacancies which will be notified for recruitment immediately.
At the University College of Arts and Social Sciences, students performed a milk abhishekam on a photograph of the CM and also distributed sweets besides bursting crackers.
