Hyderabad : Two employees of tsspdcl were caught by the anti-corruption bureau while demanding and accepting bribes.
Avinash, an assistant engineer (operations) of TSSPDCL, Sanath Nagar section, Banjara Hills circle, was caught red-handed taking a bribe of Rs. 10,000 from G. Bhaskar Reddy, a private electric contractor, to release electricity meters and to allot service connection numbers for his electricity contract work.
Both the accused performed their duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain an undue advantage. Therefore, they are being arrested and produced before the principal special judge for SPE and ACB cases court at Nampally, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation,” said an ACB official.
