CM KCR Announced 3 Days Holidays for All Educational Instituitins in View of Heavy Rains.

Hyderabad : In the wake of torrential rains across the State, holidays have been declared for all educational institutions from July 11 to 13.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao took a decision to this extent and directed the officials to take necessary measures in this regard.

He chaired a high-level meeting with the Ministers and top officials at Pragathi Bhavan on Sunday afternoon to review the rain-affected areas, present status and measures being taken by the State government to prevent any loss of lives and property due to the rains.

In the wake of incessant rains in the state, waterlogging in many low-lying areas and inundation of roads at some places in different districts were reported, while streams and rivulets were in spate at several places. In its weather warnings, the Met Centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) said heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rajanna Siricilla districts from 10 am on Sunday, July 19 to 8.30 am on Monday, July 11.
