Hyderabad : Telangana DGP (CID) Govind Singh’s wife died and he suffered injuries in a road accident near Ramgarh in Rajasthan.
Govind Singh, a senior IPS officer, was injured in a car accident on their way to Ramgarh on Monday. Govind Singh, the current Director General of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) in Telangana, is currently stable and his wife is said to have died on the spot. According to reports, IPS Govind Singh and his wife were returning to Ramgarh after visiting Tanot Mata temple when their car overturned around 2:40pm on Monday. Around 3:25 p.m., a BSF ambulance from Ops base Tanot evacuated them and immediately shifted them to CHC Ramgarh. Dr. Alok reportedly declared Govind Singh’s wife dead after an examination; his driver is still in critical condition; and DGP Govind is stable.
