Hyderabad : Yashoda Super Specialist Hospital- Somajiguda branch donated Rs 10 Cr (on paper) to the BJP in the financial year 2021- 2022. It is among the top funder of the BJP party from Hyderabad- as per contribution report.
It may recalled in 2020 Income-Tax officials had conducted raids on offices of Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, in addition to its corporate office at Nagarjuna Hills in Punjagutta.
I-T sleuths had also raided homes of Yoshada’s three directors doctors of the hospitals.
In 2020 during covid peak in hyderabad, about 170 complaints had received by the district medical and health officer about abnormal charges being collected by Yashoda for treatment of Covid-19 patients. The maximum bills, ranging from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, circulated on social media were those of Yashoda Hospitals.
These came to the notice of I-T department and raids were followed. It was learnt that I-T officials had verifified whether or not these bills are getting reflecting in the Yashoda Hospitals’ records.
