Hyderabad : Police have arrested a fake Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officer for Duping a Woman Under the Pretext of Marriage and Fled Away with her jewelry at Malkajgiri in Hyderabad.
The Accused Identified as M Anandvardhan, he Impersonate him as an undercover agent and Developed relationship with a woman. Hailing from Malkajgiri, he had approached the victim after knowing that she was a divorcee and single. He Presened himself that he was an undercover agent and had been working on an assignment in the city.
Police discovered that two years Ago, Anandvardhan also joined the Company where the victim woman was working. During an interaction at the office, he became close to her. He told the woman that he too had divorced his wife. To convince her, he produced a fake divorce document. Later on he also obtained a Morphed marriage certificate and Assured the victim that it was original and they are now legally husband and wife.
Under this Pretext, he mortgaged her gold jewelry to finance his lavish lifestyle. When the victim Demanded her jewelry, he created two fake email ids to inform her that he has been killed in an operation in a northern state. When the Woman demanded the body, he contacted her again to solve the matter. Police found that he gave her a fake cheque and a fake FIR copy about the theft of the jewelry. When he was totally Exposed , the woman approached the police. Later a case was registered and he was arrested.
