Hyderabad: Not wearing a face mask in public places will attract a fine of Rs 1,000. To prevent the spread of covid-19, the Telangana government on Sunday issued penal orders for violation of face mask rules, and instructed district collectors and commissioners / superintendents of police to strictly enforce these directives.
the rules will be strictly implemented in the areas with high population density, public transportation, offices. A notice has been sent to the DGP office, police commissionerates to implement the orders.
Any deviation in these conditions will attract prosecution under the section 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act, 2005 and Section 188, IPC as well as other applicable laws.
