Fire accident at Charminar old bus stand

Hyderabad: Moments of tension were seen on Tuesday afternoon after fire broke out near the Charminar bus stand parking complex.

According to the locals, a fire broke out in the garbage dump at around 2 pm in the old bus stand premises.

Seeing the smoke, the locals immediately reported to the Hussainialam police, who rushed to the spot and informed the fire control room.

A fire engine from the Mogalpura fire station immediately rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. “Within 20 minutes, the fire was extinguished. We suspect that someone might have thrown a lighted cigrette there.

Locals had complained that the garbage was not picked up on time, often resulting in minor fires with people throwing cigarette butts in the dump.

“All vehicles parked in the old bus stand carry fuel. If the fire spreads quickly and any vehicle catches it, the entire vehicle will be turned to ashes in the will, ”feared osman Khan, local shopkeeper
