Pacer Ashwin Yadav Dies At 33

Former Hyderabad fast bowler Ashwin Yadav passed away on Saturday. He was 33 years old and died of cardiac arrest. He is survived by his wife and three young sons.

Yadav had played 14 first class matches and captured 34 wickets. He made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2007 against Punjab in Mohali and had best figures of 6 for 52 against Delhi at Uppal Stadium in 2008-09 season. Although he last played his Ranji match against Mumbai in 2009 he continued to play for State Bank of Hyderabad and now SBI in the local leagues.Yadav played for Evergreen in the local leagues for many years before he joined SBH. Coach Kishenlal of Evergreen said Ashwin was an energetic and enthusiastic bowler. He had a good out-swinger and was nippy off the wicket he said
