Hyderabad: The unknown body was found on the footpath of Madannapet Road in Rein Bazar here in the early hours of Saturday.
It is not yet known whether it was a natural death or a murder.
The local residents who noticed the body of the man on roadside, aged in his forties and they alerted the police.
Rein Bazar Police has transferred the body to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy. Surveillance camera footage was being verified with attempts to identify the man.
