Hyderabad: woman committed suicide due to dowry harassment.This incident is from the area under the jurisdiction of the Charminar Police.
According to police sources, the woman was Pushpawati Raju’s wife and a resident of musabowli.
She was married to Raju last year. At the time of marriage her parents gave 5 tola gold, Rs 2 lakh cash and furniture of 1 Lac.
For the past few days, her in-laws were harassing her to get more dowry.
Unable to bear the torture,she took this big step. Charminar police have registered a case in this regard.
