Hyderabad:Two officials of Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL), Keesara, Ranga Reddy, were arrested on Tuesday on charges of alleged corruption.
on november 17,according to a press report from the Anti-Corruption Bureau Hyderabad, D. Vijayender Reddy, Sub-Engineer, Divisional Engineer, TSSPDCL, Keesara was arrested, when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs. 13,000.Complainant M. Shashi Kumar Reddy, a resident of Beeramguda, Ranga Reddy District for a government right i.e ,to send the application of complainant to the Superintendent Engineer, TSSPDCL, Uppal, a transformer and electricity related to Vaishnavi Construction,nagaram.
The tainted amount of Rs 13,000 was recovered from the possession of Vijayender Reddy which he kept in his office table drawer. The press statement said that Jogula Santosh, Artisan (Outsourcing) received Rs. 6,000 from the complainant by phone pay on November 12 to send the same file to the office of Divisional Engineer, TSSPDCL, Keesara
accused officers Jogula Santosh and D Vijayender Reddy performed their duties with illegitimacy and dishonesty and were arrested and are being produced before the honble special judge of SPE and ACB cases in Hyderabad. The matter is under investigation, the press report added. (ANI).
