Two killed in road accident in Shamshabad

Hyderabad: In Shamshabad, two people died on Tuesday night when a bike crashed from the opposite direction. The bike riders who died in the accident were drunk.

The accident occurred at around 7 pm on ORR Service Road in Shamshabad. RGI Airport Inspector P Vijay Kumar said, “A bike with a temporary registration number going from Himayatsagar towards Shamshabad crashed another bike coming from the opposite direction due to negligence of the first bike rider Prashanth Reddy.”

25year old Prashanth Reddy and another bike rider 38year old K Narasimha, sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

inspector said that “Prashant Reddy along with Mahendra and Vamshi had consumed alcohol near Himayatsagar. Mahendra also suffered injuries and his reading was 56 mg / 100. vamshi ran away. The pillion rider on Narasimha’s bike also suffered injuries. He is undergoing treatment at a local hospital. Triple riding, bike riding without a helmet, over speeding and drunk driving are the causes of a fatal accident.
