Hyderabad: Drinking water supply will be closed 24 hours from 6 am on Wednesday. Due to junction work on Krishna Drinking Water Supply Phase-II Ring Main-II under alignment of SRDP flyover and to facilitate construction of underpass and underpass from LB Nagar Junction to bawarchi.
Following this, there will be no water supply to the some areas including Balapur, Maisaram, Barkas, Mekalamandi, Bholakpur, Tarnaka, Lalapet, Boudhanagar, Marredpally, Cantonment, Prakashnagar, Patigadda, Hashmathpet, Vaishalinagar, BN Reddynagar, Vanasthalipuram, Autonagar, Maruthinagar, Elugutta, Ramanthapur, Uppal, Nacharam, Habsiguda, Chilkanagar, Berrappagadda, Boduppal, Badangpet and Meerpet reservoir areas.
On Sunday, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has requested consumers to use the water to avoid inconvenience while shutting off the water supply.
