Hyderabad: While the younger generation is expressing fear to take a shot of covid’s vaccine, a century stands as a source of inspiration for all those who instill doubt and fear in their minds.
Jaidev Chaudhary, who is a businessman and a resident of Banjara Hills, received his first dose of covid-19 vaccine at the city’s Medicover Hospital on Monday.
When the hospital doctors asked him why he wanted to get vaccinated.
Jaidev replied, “I am 100 years old. I was looking forward to this day so that I could freely enjoy my social life after getting vaccinated.” I can take it and live longer.
Jaidev said that the world was going through an interesting time with covid coming out of the vaccine and said that he remembers when states went through diseases like polio and cholera. “My first vaccination was for polio when I was in school.”
He said that he had heard of several examples of how people were suffering earlier due to a lack of vaccines. He said that after several decades, he witnessed the corona epidemic in 2020, which crippled normal life around the world.
According to the doctors at the Medicover Hospital, Jaidev came to the hospital in the morning and the doctors checked his blood pressure before giving him the vaccine, his blood pressure was checked thrice after giving it and he was stable and returned home. The hospital would be calling him for a second dose after 28 days.
