Hyderabad: A 42-year-old male health care worker who was vaccinated yesterday in Nirmal district was brought dead to the district hospital after he complained of chest pain late last night. Preliminary finding Found that Death unrelated to Vaccine.
The worker was Vaccinated on Tuesday morning around 11:30 am at a primary health centre in Nirmal and is believed to have developed chest pains late night around 2:30 am. The personnel was declared dead on arrival to the district hospital, at about 5:30 am, state Director of Public Health G Srinivasa Rao said in a press release.
As per guidelines, postmortem will be conducted by a team of Doctors. The concerned departments will examine the matter and submit a report to the central AEFI committee.
