First Sputnik dose given in Hyderabad, Price Rs 948 + GST

Hyderabad: Dr. Reddy’s laboratories announced on Friday that the first consignment of imported doses of Sputnik V vaccine, which landed in India on 1 May, received regulatory approval on 13 May from the Central Drug Laboratory, Kasauli.

As part of the limited pilot, the soft launch vaccine has started and the first dose of vaccine was given in Hyderabad on Friday.

Imported supplements are expected to arrive in the coming months. After this, the supply of Sputnik V vaccine will start from Indian Manufacturing Partners.

The imported dose of the vaccine is currently priced at MRP of Rs 948 + 5% GST per dose, with the possibility of a lower price point when local supply starts.

The company is working closely with its six manufacturing partners in India to meet regulatory requirements to ensure smooth and timely supply

Dr. Reddy will work closely with stakeholders in the government and private sector in India to ensure the widest possible access to the Sputnik V vaccine as part of a national vaccination effort.

This is a confirmation of the company’s commitment to explore all avenues in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic in India.
