Hyderabad: In a shocking incident in Akbarbagh of Saidabad Police Station area, a watchman touched the high-tension wire and end his life.
According to police, 40 years old Akbar Khan is a watchman working in Basharath Enclave near Dilkusha Function Hall.
After an altercation with his wife on Monday afternoon, Akbar Khan threatened to end his life.
Later he climbed on the electric transformer, even people saw and stopped him, he did not listen to anyone and touched the HT wire due to which he injuried and fell down. He died on the spot and suffered serious head injury.
The entire incident was captured by passersby and locals and the video went viral on social media.
On knowing about the incident, a team of Saidabad Police reached the spot and sent the body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.
Inspector K Srinivas Rao said, “Police told that Akbar Khan had frequent fights with his second wife and was an alcoholic.”
