Hyderabad: Depressed over allegedly quarreling over his girlfriend’s family members about their relationship, a teenage boy committed suicide at KPHB here on Tuesday.
Police said Nagesh Tiwari 19 years old,a native of Maharashtra, who worked as a hotel driver, was in a relationship with a girl, also from Maharashtra. She was working for a private firm in Madhapur.
Last week, the couple decided to get married and went to their place to inform their families about their decision. However, the girl’s parents went to Tiwari’s house and quarreled with his family members.
Tiwari, who was depressed, returned to Hyderabad alone on Monday. He was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his house by his neighbour Prakash Datta, who alerted the police. KPHB police visited the spot and started investigation
