Hyderabad: In a freak accident, one person was died when a car moving on a road in Hasthinapuram in Vanasthalipuram crashed here on Saturday morning.
Sources said the driver Gautam, who was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, lost control of the car and first hit a traffic signal pole and then crashed in the middle of the road. At the same speed the car jumped to the other side.
When this incident happened at 4 am, they were going from Sagar Ring Road towards Vanasthalipuram.
Due to the impact, a Sandeep sitting in the back seat in the car suffered serious injuries and died.
Vanasthalipuram police is investigating. While Gautam was taken into custody, another man in the car escaped.
