HYDERABAD : On Thursday , Telangana reported 1,531 new covid cases and the overall cases reached out to 2,37,187 in the state. On 29th October 6 new deaths were reported considering the total tally of 1,330.The fatality ratio in the state is 0.56 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.5 per cent.
Districts of Telangana is seeing a rapid increase in the number of cases day by day. Whereas ,The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 293 new cases while Rangareddy reported 114 new cases. Khammam reported 83 new cases while Medchal Malkajigiri reported 120 new cases.
On Thursday taking the tally of total recoveries from 2,17,401 around 1,048 citizens recovered from the infection.As per the government the recovery rate stands at 91.65 per cent, which approximately one per cent higher than the national average of 91 per cent.The government tested 43,790 citizens for the virus on Thursday. So far 42,40,748 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 1,13,937. Still, 1,037 reports are awaited. 19,267 primary contacts are tested on Thursday while 5,254 secondary contacts are tested.
The state currently holds 18,456 active cases. Of the total active cases, 15,425 are under home isolation. Taking into consideration the total positive cases 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
From the age between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases whereas Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases according to the State.The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
