Hyderabad: In Telangana 253 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total caseload to around 2.88 lakh, while the three related raised the toll to 1,554.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most cases with 61 followed by Warangal Urban and Medchal Malkajgiri with 20 and 18 respectively, a government bulletin provided details on Tuesday, January 4 at 8 pm .
The total number of cases was 2,87,993 while recoveries were 2,81,400. On Monday, 5,039 patients are undergoing treatment and 42,485 samples were tested.
more than 70.61 lakh samples have been tested. The Bulletin stated that the samples tested per million population were more than 1.89 lakh. The case fatality rate in the state was 0.53%, while at the national level it was 1.4%. The recovery rate in Telangana was 97.71%, while it was 96.3% in the country.
