Hyderabad: Flying from Hyderabad to the US will no longer be a problem as Air India’s direct flight from the city to Chicago will start tomorrow.
According to Air India, flight AI-107 from , leaving from Hyderabad to Chicago will operate once a week on every Friday depart from hyderabad at 12.50 pm and arriving in Chicago on the same day at 6.05 pm (local time).
The return flight AI-108 from Chicago to Hyderabad will reach Hyderabad every Wednesday at 9.30 pm (local time) from Chicago to Hyderabad at 1.40 am by Boeing 777LR aircraft.
The airline will use Boeing 777-200 aircraft for this direct service.
In the past, flights departing from Hyderabad were halted and transit. There are usually one or two stops on connecting flights to the United States.
On Twitter, Telangana IT and Municipal Corporation Minister KTR congratulated Air India and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for starting a direct flight from Hyderabad to Chicago.
Minister KTR said that this was the beginning of more direct flights to other continents.
