Hyderabad: A female software engineer was allegedly attacked with a knife by a man with whom she had been in a relationship for some time. The incident occurred on Tuesday night in Hydershakote, Narsingi.
According to police, the woman, a software engineer and a native of Mahbubnagar, was in a relationship with the accused 29 years old, who was a hairstylist. Police said that the couple recently debated an issue
Later, the woman’s marriage was decided by her parents after which she avoided the man. To complain against the woman, the man went to her house and called her out on the pretext of discussing an issue. Then he was attacked with a knife.
Hearing the screams, the locals rushed to her rescue and shifted her to a nearby hospital. The woman’s condition is said to be stable.
The locals caught the man and handed him over to the police. Narsingi CI registered a case and launched an investigation.
