Three died, seven injured in road accident in Warangal

Hyderabad: Three women were died and seven others were injured after a Toofan vehicle rammed into an auto-rickshaw on National Highway 163, on the Hyderabad-Bhopalpatnam road, with seven injured women being referred to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The incident took place at Neerukulla in Atmakur mandal when the victims were on their way from Mulugu towards Warangal. The high speed Toofan hit the auto-rickshaw causing an accident.

The deceased were identified as Sambalakshmi 65 years old , Palakurthy Sarojana 55 years old and Mehabubi 50 years old. The bodies were sent to Warangal Hospital for autopsy.

It is learned that 19 people were in the auto along with the driver. All are daily wage laborers who were going to Rangapuram village in Duggondi mandal to harvest the chilli crop. The police registered a case and started an investigation.
