Hyderabad: Here on tuesday,Two rat snakes were rescued from the CPL Ground, near the residence of City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar in Amberpet.
Non-venomous snakes were spotted by staff, who further alerted Venkatesh Naik, a constable at the Malakpet traffic station, who also specializes in handling snakes.
Naik immediately rushed to the spot and caught the snakes and handed them over to the zoo officials.
Anjani Kumar, who praised Naik, honored him with a memento and announced him a cash reward.
